That's me, in a Centurion 4-door Bronco towing a JDM MS51 Crown! I was so excited when the streetview car drove by...

Haven't been around much lately...I'm hoping to catch up soon. I've got a lot to write about...the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is finished. We started it at midnight, loaded it on a trailer, and hit the road for Vegas at 4am...then drove four 3 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! nights...totally worth it. I've also driven a lap around the country, and I'm about to do another....(The Aerocabin went to Vegas, then LA. It's waiting to be in the Historic J show in November before it comes back to Kentucky. I swapped it for the Crown, and brought that back to Kentucky to do the 2Jz swap here.

The three biggest reasons I wasn't going to use anything bigger than the 261ci Rover were roughly: cutting fenders is a bitch, ability to drive more than once a week without bankruptcy, and the sheer abject terror of putting a 700lb engine over the front axle of a 2500lb car.

These are not concerns for everybody.

Weighs about the same as the original Falcon six, though it's a good bit bigger. About the only way to go lighter would be one of the linerless Coyotes or a very small aluminum LS - hard to find, and I'm not setting up all that modern ECM-driven EFI bullshit. I got a partly-stripped parts Rangie with a 4.2 for $500, and got engine, axles, and some other parts out of the bargain.

A bellhousing is available to fit to standard T-5/T-10/Muncie/etc. (already bought), and the flywheel is a 10.4", so just needs to be redrilled for a 10.4" chevy clutch. I've got motorcycle throttle bodies to put on top (x8) with Megasquirt, and I'm going to swap to 4.0 Rover performance pistons and forged rods on the rebuild (small journal SBC fit, as far as I've been able to find out).

The trans I've got is a low-first GM 28spline Super T-10 from a '79 Chevy, aluminum case (not a Power Brute), but shouldn't need to be iron and the weight savings are a plus.

Mine is a '94 dark blue metallic. Always liked these cars best in dark colors, but it looks damn fine in white.

yeah it looked good with the pearl. Just wish it was more common than 1000 sedans and 500 wagons (mine were 36 VIN numbers apart too, both from the same dealer originally too, bought in 2 different states). After like 5 years the head gasket started to go in it. Went to a black on black V70R AWD at that point and sold it. Then my ex blew the motor. Oil pump went and she thought she could make it home with the oil light on. WRONG!
